It is a range of small single-board computers (SBCs) developed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation in association with Broadcom. The Raspberry Pi initiative began to promote fundamental computer science education in schools and developing nations. The initial model of Raspberry Pi proved to be more successful than expected, selling outside of its intended market for purposes such as robotics. It is inexpensive, versatile, and has an open design. It also supports HDMI and USB standards, so computer and electronic enthusiasts often use it.
